I was thinking of getting a ruger later in the year. I want a .40cal. I just don't know weather to get a XDm or a p-944. I like the all medal frame and slide of the Ruger but am impressed with all the xdm's features.

No wepon is safe to shoot with missing parts. The user manual is right above this post in PDF. Fix it. you took it apart you can put it back together right.

Had a chance to shoot my buddies Ruger at the range recently. I found this gun to be very accurate. His was a .40 and I was endangering bullseyes at 30ft the first time I fired it. Great Ruger product.

dont believe the hipe this gun is only good for one thing, thats to do the job. and you can dam sure depend on it to save your life. forget resale as long as it does what it is supposed to do, which is save your life and depend on it to do so. Ruger will always give you that
