dont believe the hipe this gun is only good for one thing, thats to do the job. and you can dam sure depend on it to save your life. forget resale as long as it does what it is supposed to do, which is save your life and depend on it to do so. Ruger will always give you that

I have a stainless 944 .40. I put hogue grips on it and they feel great. The pistol is as accurate as the Beretta 96 I carry on duty and more reliable. No issues in over a year of regular use. That being said I find it is to large for a CCW or for

Hello once again to all,
I finally shot my baby. Boy was I impressed. I put 120 rds through her and not a single problem except that I had incorrectly racked her in the beggining of each shoot. I attribute that to my inexperience and excitement.

I just bought my first pistol and it is this P944. I did my research and I shot my friends a few times and I fell in love with it. I have not shot mine yet and I'm itching to, I just havn't had the time to. I'm looking for some hogue grips for it. Does anyone know where I can get a good price on those.
I'll write back as soon as I shoot her to let you guys know how she did.

I kind of inherited this one from my brother. It's an alright pistol, never had any problems. Only real issue is that it's a bit top heavy, doesn't feel very balanced in my hand. I'm more partial to the XD.

I have had my P944 for about 4 years. I originally purchased it for backpacking but found it was a great gun for my security job. Its a little hard to use a concealed carry but I have found ways to do so. Personally I love mine and have not replaced
